Event Director, Philip Bernadou, today announced the new date for the rescheduled Classic Outback Trial: 27 March to 2 April, 2022.
He said that the event program will be exactly as planned, but rescheduled to start on Sunday March 27, 2022.
Originally calendared for August 2020, the event was postponed to November 2020, March 2021, August 2021, and now to March 2022.
“We envisage that by March/April 2022 the vaccination rate will be high enough to allow state and international borders to reopen,” Phil Bernadou, said.
“Hopefully by that time we might even be able to entice the internationals to return.”
“Fifth time lucky,” he said, with fingers crossed.
