The X board is not a management committee… it’s a rally sign that the Classic Outback Trial uses in conjunction with caution boards to show crews the exact position of a hazard. The X board was an innovation in COT 2014, introduced to help crews see the location of disguised or hard to see hazards.
RallySafe is a key part of the safety framework for the 2014 Classic Outback Trial.
All cars need to buy and fit a Rallysafe Installation kit before the event. The event will provide the RallySafe unit, but you need to have the kit installed and ready to plug it in.
Competitors will be pleased to hear that Gary Harrison from Gary’s Motorsport Tyres/Dunlop Motorpsort will be bringing his very well equipped rally service truck on the 2014 Classic Outback Trial. Gary will be with us for the duration of the event, visiting all the service points.
