Your car might not be a fire-breathing turbocharged all-wheel drive rally car but you too can compete in the 2016 Classic Outback Trial.

The Regularity section of the Red Centre trial gives everyone the chance to satisfy their competitive urge no matter what car they drive.

Opportunity for modern rally cars in Classic Outback Trial

Chris McCormack, from Alice Springs, has nominated for Classic Outback Modern in his Mitsubishi Magna.

Competitors with modern rally cars have been afforded a rare opportunity to compete in a long distance rally with the organisers of the 2016 Classic Outback Trial expanding the six-day event to include modern two and four-wheel drive rally cars.

Victorian husband and wife team, Phil and Laurette Macwhirter, will compete in a rare 1934 Railton in the Regularity competition in the 2016 Classic Outback Trial, based in Alice Springs.
