Following a recent surge of new entries for the Classic Outback Trial, only a few places remain in the entry list before a full capacity is reached.
Event Director, Phil Bernadou has confirmed that following the reinstatement by the Federal and State Governments of sporting events, after the long Covid-19 induced lockdowns and travel restrictions experienced in most states, that there we only nine spaces left in the Special Stage event and seven spaces in the regularity event.
“This is really great news for all of us, as a full field will significantly add to the atmosphere of the Classic Outback Trial. The event relies not only on keen competition between entrants during the days, but also great camaraderie each night between drivers, co-drivers, service crews and officials after the serious side of the day’s competition has ended.”
The Classic Outback Trial will be held over seven days, starting in Parkes in New South Wales on Sunday, 27 March 2022 before moving through Orange to end in Bathurst on Saturday, 2 April.
