International entries looking possible

With the Australian vaccination rates approaching required levels, State and National Governments are talking about ways to open our border to vaccinated international travellers without the need for quarantine.

Although time frames aren’t year clear yet, there is a push to have borders open to Australian nationals and residents well before Christmas.

With events like the Australian Open in mid-January and the Australian F1 Grand Prix in April, just a week after the COT, there is a strong push to open for international tourists too.

We’ll be watching announcements closely so we can let our international teams know. We’ve already had one entry on spec..

Long time UK COT supporter, Warren Briggs, has entered and is shipping his magnificent Mustang to Australia.

Hopefully an early announcement and the favourable logistics of a Parkes start (just 6 hours west of Sydney) will encourage a more international COT supporters to join us in Parkes next year for what will be the last Classic Outback Trial.
